This is the true story of the intimate friendship of Hollywood legend James Dean and Magnum photographer Dennis Stock, set in early 1955, on the brink of Dean’s stardom. Stock convinces his editor to let him candidly shoot the free spirit, chaotic, joyful and mischievous actor for LIFE Magazine. Travelling across the US from Los Angeles to New York City to Dean’s home farm in Indiana, this photographic journey would change Stock’s life and produce some of the most iconic images of the age. Directed by photographer and director Anton Corbijn, Life premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, was scored by Owen Pallett who was at Salon İKSV last December.
